This Privacy Policy explains how Vora Technologies, LLC (“Vora,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit meetvora.ai, use our signup funnels, and use our AI receptionist Services (dedicated numbers, call forwarding, missed-call SMS, AI conversation after opt-in, calendar sync). By using the Services, you acknowledge you have read and understand this Policy.

1. Scope & Roles

Subscriber (Business Owner) Data: Vora acts as a controller for subscriber account and billing information.

Caller/End-User Data: When your customers call your Vora number and opt in to text, Vora processes messages on your behalf as a processor/service provider.

2. Personal Information We Collect

A. Subscriber Data: name, business name, email, phone, postal address, login credentials, plan tier, payment/billing details (processed by PCI-compliant processors), support communications.
B. Caller/End-User Data: phone number, call metadata (time, duration, missed/answered), SMS content, explicit consent status (YES/STOP/HELP/START), appointment details (if booked), inferred language preference.
C. Technical/Usage Data: device/browser info, IP address, referral URLs, campaign parameters, page views, cookie IDs, diagnostics.
D. Derived Data: aggregated or de-identified analytics for performance/security.

3. Sources

From you (Subscriber), from the Services automatically (telecom and app logs), and from service providers (e.g., carriers/aggregators, hosting, analytics, payments) used to operate the Services.

4. How We Use Information

Provide, operate, and improve the Services (issue numbers; forward calls; send Consent SMS after missed calls; continue SMS only on YES; AI chat; calendar sync; confirmations/reminders; lead notifications).

Authenticate/manage accounts; process payments; provide support.

Monitor compliance with TCPA/CTIA/A2P and carrier rules.

Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Comply with legal obligations; enforce Terms.

Cancellation & data requests. When you cancel, we will disable messaging and remove forwarding on your Vora number(s). We retain limited records as required by law, carrier compliance, billing, fraud prevention, and security. You may request export or deletion (as permitted by law) by emailing hello@meetvora.ai within 30 days of cancellation

5. SMS Program & Consent (TCPA/CTIA; A2P 10DLC)

Subscribers: By submitting our trial/subscription form, you consent to receive onboarding/account/billing texts. The form displays STOP/HELP and rates disclosure.

Callers/End-Users: After a missed call, we send one Consent SMS:
“Thanks for calling [Business Name]. I’m Vora, their AI assistant. Can I text you to help with your request? Reply YES to continue, STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”
No further SMS unless the user replies YES. Every subsequent SMS includes STOP and HELP. We honor STOP/HELP/START per CTIA guidelines. Message frequency varies; message & data rates may apply. We observe reasonable quiet hours (e.g., 8am–9pm local).

6. No Sale/No Sharing of Mobile Numbers & SMS Opt-In Data

Vora does not sell or share (as defined by CCPA/CPRA) mobile numbers, SMS consent data, or message content with third parties for their marketing. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are used only to deliver the Services (missed-call consent SMS, AI conversation after consent, confirmations/reminders, account notices).

7. Service Providers & Carriers

We disclose personal information to service providers solely to operate/secure the Services, under contracts limiting use to our instructions (e.g., telecom carriers/aggregators, cloud hosting, analytics, payments, fraud/security). We may also disclose information (a) to comply with law/legal process; (b) to protect rights/safety; or (c) in a merger/acquisition/asset sale consistent with this Policy. We do not permit service providers to use your data for their own ads.

8. Legal Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Where applicable, processing relies on consent (e.g., Caller replies YES; Subscriber webform opt-in), contract (deliver Services), legitimate interests (security/fraud prevention/improvement), and legal obligations.

9. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies for core functionality, analytics, and campaign measurement. Manage cookies via your browser settings. If you operate in the EEA/UK, deploy a consent banner that allows opt-in to analytics/marketing cookies before they load. See our Cookie Notice.

10. Retention

Subscriber data: retained while the account is active and as required by law.

Caller/SMS data: retained per Subscriber settings and legal requirements; we may keep logs for compliance/security.

We delete or de-identify data when no longer necessary.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, logging). No system is 100% secure. Protect your credentials and configure your account responsibly.

12. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.

13. Your Privacy Rights

California (CCPA/CPRA): Rights to know/access, correct, delete, and to opt-out of sale/share (we do not sell/share personal information, including mobile numbers/SMS consent data). Non-discrimination for exercising rights.
GDPR/UK GDPR: Rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object; withdraw consent anytime (without affecting prior processing).
Other State Laws: We will honor applicable rights (access, correction, deletion, opt-out of targeted advertising/sale/share; we do not sell/share PI).
Submit Requests: hello@meetvora.ai or /privacy-requests. We verify identity and may deny/limit requests as allowed by law. Authorized agents may submit with proof of authority.

14. No Outcome Profiling

We do not process personal information to offer or guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g., revenue, profit, appointment volume). Analytics are for service operation, security, and improvement only and do not constitute a promise of results.

15. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted with “Last Updated.” Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
